2 Scope

This policy applies to all mobile applications published by AkkroStudio on the Apple App Store, including — but not limited to — SmartPhotoCleaner (Purga) and any other app AkkroStudio publishes in the future, regardless of whether they include advertising, in-app purchases, or neither.

By downloading or using any of our apps, you accept the conditions described in this document. If you do not agree with any of them, please uninstall the application.

3 Privacy by Design

AkkroStudio applies the Privacy by Design principle across all its apps. This means:

• Core functionality processes data exclusively on the user's device (on-device). No data leaves your phone except as explicitly described in this policy.
• Minimal data collection: we only access system resources strictly necessary for the declared functionality of each app.
• No proprietary analytics servers, no user databases, no behavioural profiles managed by AkkroStudio.
• When third-party advertising (Google AdMob) is used, the user is informed and can control their consent before any personalised advertising activity begins.

4 Data AkkroStudio Does NOT Collect

AkkroStudio, as a company, does not collect, store, or transmit to its own systems any of the following data:

• Name, email address, phone number, or other personal identifiers.
• Photos, images, videos, or any content from your photo library.
• Location data (GPS, Wi-Fi networks, Bluetooth).
• App usage history, session logs, or behavioural statistics on AkkroStudio servers.
• Contacts, calendar, email, or any other system resource not listed in section 5.

Note: The advertising identifier (IDFA) may be accessed by Google AdMob in apps that include advertising, only with the user's explicit consent via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. See section 7.

5 System Permissions & Data Use

AkkroStudio apps may request access to certain device resources. The table below details each permission:

6 Strictly On-Device Processing

All content analysis performed by our apps — including blur detection using the Laplacian algorithm, duplicate photo comparison using Average Hash (aHash), or any other computational analysis — runs locally on your device's processor. The content processed:

• Is never copied or sent outside the device to AkkroStudio or third-party servers.
• Only low-resolution thumbnails are accessed for analysis algorithms; original photos are not read in full except for on-screen display.
• All photo deletion is performed through Apple's official framework (PhotoKit) and requires explicit user confirmation.

7 Advertising — Google AdMob

Some AkkroStudio applications include advertising provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) to fund the development and maintenance of free versions.

Data Google AdMob may collect

When an advert is displayed, Google AdMob may automatically collect and process the following data:

• Advertising identifier (IDFA): A unique device identifier for advertising purposes, subject to the user's ATT consent.
• IP address: Used to determine approximate geographic region and serve relevant ads.
• Device information: Model, OS version, language, time zone.
• Ad interaction data: Impressions, clicks, ad type viewed.
• App information: Bundle name and application version.

App Tracking Transparency (ATT) — iOS 14+

On iOS 14 or later, before Google AdMob can access the IDFA, the app will display Apple's standard App Tracking Transparency prompt. You have three options:

• Allow tracking: AdMob can access your IDFA and show personalised ads based on your usage history across other apps.
• Deny tracking: AdMob will show non-personalised ads based solely on the app's context. Google may still collect non-IDFA data (IP, device, interactions).
• Change your decision later: You can update this preference at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Consent for users in the EEA and UK

For users in the EEA and United Kingdom, apps with advertising implement the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP), which displays a GDPR-compliant consent panel before loading any advert. You can:

• Accept personalised ads.
• Accept non-personalised ads only.
• Decline interest-based advertising.
• Withdraw or modify your consent at any time from the app's settings.

How to opt out of personalised ads

In addition to the ATT prompt, you can manage personalised advertising via:

• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → Limit Ad Tracking.
• Google: adssettings.google.com → Turn off ad personalisation.

Google's Privacy Policy

Data processing by Google AdMob is governed by Google LLC's privacy policy. For more information: policies.google.com/privacy.

AkkroStudio acts as data controller in choosing to integrate AdMob, and Google acts as data processor for advertising data under the terms of Google's advertising programme.

8 Data Managed by Apple

AkkroStudio distributes its applications exclusively through the Apple App Store. Apple, as a platform, may independently collect certain data in accordance with its own privacy policy:

• Diagnostics and performance: Anonymous crash reports if the user opted to share diagnostics with developers.
• In-App Purchases: Payment processing, transaction history, and billing data managed entirely by Apple.
• App Store Connect: Apple provides AkkroStudio with aggregated, anonymised download and usage statistics.

AkkroStudio has no access to personal data generated by Apple. For more information: Apple Privacy Policy.

9 Voluntary Communications

If you contact us by email (support, feedback, reviews), we will receive the data you provide in the message — your email address, your name if included, and a description of your issue. This data:

• Is used exclusively to respond to your enquiry.
• Is not shared with third parties.
• Is not added to any marketing database.
• Is retained for the minimum time necessary to handle the communication.

You can request deletion of any communication by contacting [email protected].

10 Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection law, you have the following rights over your personal data:

If you reside in the EEA and believe your rights have not been upheld, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country of residence (in the UK: ICO — ico.org.uk).

11 Children & COPPA

AkkroStudio's applications are not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in EEA countries where applicable). Accordingly:

• We do not knowingly collect information from children.
• Apps with Google AdMob do not serve personalised advertising when the user is identified as a minor, in compliance with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and Google's Families Policy.
• If a parent or legal guardian believes a minor has provided personal data to AkkroStudio, please contact [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.

12 Security

AkkroStudio applies the following measures to protect the information it handles:

• All communications with Apple (StoreKit) and Google (AdMob) use HTTPS with TLS.
• We do not maintain proprietary user databases exposed to the Internet.
• Source code is reviewed internally against known vulnerabilities (OWASP Mobile Top 10).
• Third-party SDKs (AdMob) are kept up to date to incorporate the latest security patches.

If you discover a security vulnerability in any of our apps, please disclose it responsibly to [email protected] before making it public.

13 Cookies & Tracking Technologies

AkkroStudio mobile apps do not use proprietary cookies. However, the Google AdMob SDK may use equivalent tracking technologies (device identifiers, SDK local storage) for ad delivery and measurement. These technologies:

• Are only activated if the user has accepted the ATT prompt (iOS 14+) or the GDPR consent panel (EEA).
• Can be disabled by revoking consent or enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" in device settings.

The website www.akkrostudio.uk may use technically necessary cookies and, subject to your explicit consent via a cookie banner, analytics or third-party cookies, in compliance with the ePrivacy Directive.

14 International Data Transfers

AkkroStudio does not transfer personal data to third countries from its own systems. Transfers that may occur are those carried out by third parties integrated into the apps:

• Apple Inc. (USA): Manages the App Store, StoreKit, and diagnostics. Uses EU Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers from the EEA.
• Google LLC (USA): Manages AdMob and advertising data. Operates under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. More information: policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks.

15 Changes to This Policy

AkkroStudio reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technological, or feature changes. Material changes will be communicated by:

• Updating the date at the top of this document.
• An in-app notification if the change materially affects data processing.

We recommend reviewing this page periodically. Continued use of the apps after publication of changes implies acceptance of the updated policy.
